New TERRIBLE height restrictions on Britax Max-Way Plus

New terrible height restrictions by Britax on models Max-Way Plus and Max-Way. This has been a huge issue in Sweden for the past few months. Apparently not widely discussed in other countries. Britax has informed that top of head support can’t be counted as highest part of the seat shell. Instead the lower outer shell should be counted which limits rear facing time significantly. The seats will now last rear facing to around age 4 or about 110-115 cm. A bit longer for some kids and shorter for others.

A real shame since these are two nice, compact and safe seats. Reason for this change by Britax is still unclear. Safety issues? Poorly informed product expert? Misunderstanding? Other reasons? More details in video.
