Ordering is possible 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you have any questions regarding how to use the online store or need any kind of assistance, please email us at email@example.com. You may select to pay with credit card (Visa/Mastercard), Paypal or bank transfer.
Your order will be handled in the following way:
1. Order is placed in the online store. Pay with Visa/Mastercard, Paypal or bank transfer. By ordering a seat you enter into a legal and binding agreement of purchase regardless of method of payment.
2. A confirmation email is sent directly after the order is completed. If your order is paid directly with credit card or Paypal an email will be sent which says your order is “Being processed”. If payment is done with bank transfer your stats will be “On hold” until payment is received.
3. Car seat and/or accessories are shipped. You will receive an email saying your order is “Complete”. This email will include a receipt in PDF format, a tracking number and a link for tracking your package online.
4. Arrival of seat. Transit time vary depending on destination.
All prices are listed in Euros (€). You can also use the currency switcher and view prices in English pound Sterling (£) or US dollar ($). Prices include all taxes but do not include delivery and custom charges where applicable.
Any discount coupons can only be used one at the time.
3. Shipping Policy
All seats are shipped from our store in Sweden. We use a variety of postal couriers depending on destination in the world. We mainly use Postnord and DPD. Car seats are shipped daily Monday through Friday (mail services closed during Saturday and Sunday in Sweden).
Upon arrival of your package please check so that all items are present. The customer is required to notify us within three (3) days if any items are missing or there are any questions about the order.
Shipping to European Countries:
Shipping to European countries is a flat fee of €19 EurosEU countries. a few destinations have a slightly higher shipping fee. Shipping time varies depending on country but is usually 3-5 business days. Slightly longer to Greece, Ireland and some other countries. If only accessories are purchased the shipping fee is €5.
Shipping to other countries:
Shipping to other countries worldwide is a flat fee of €95 per seat. We ship seats to 100+ countries. If your country is not listed or you can’t select your country while checking out please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. After a tracking email has been provided the customer is responsible for keeping track of the package in a timely manner. If only accessories are purchased the shipping fee is €10.
Shipping time vary depending on destination. It’s usually around 3-5 working days to US, Australia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Hongkong, New Zealand, etc. Transit time will be longer to countries such as South Africa, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Reunion, New Caledonia, etc.
Unclaimed or rejected packages:
Smaller packages which are returned unclaimed or rejected by the customer will be charged a fee of €15 for shipping, return shipping and administration. Larger packages, such as car seats, which are unclaimed or rejected by the customer will be charged a fee of €60 for shipping, return shipping and administration.
We have all seats in stock but occasionally a certain color might be sold out due to high demand. If there are any issus with the order you will be contacted via email.
We provide a five year warranty on all our car seats (valid from March 1 2020) Your seat is warranted against defective materials or workmanship for three years from the date of purchase. If there are any issues with your seat please let us know via email email@example.com. Minor issues, such as a plastic details or fabric, might be replaced. If needed the whole seat will be replaced. Warranty does not cover normal use by the customer such as sun bleached covers, styrofoam, incorrect use, etc.
Customer is allowed to return the car seat within 14 days if seat is new, unused and in the original box. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Please contact us via email before a return is made (select “Return” in the contact form).
7. Customs and Customs charges
Customs charges may or may not apply to your order. CarSeat,.se is not responsible for custom charges which may incur. Please check on applicable regulations before ordering.
We like personal integrity and treat your confidential information with respect. Email addresses, phone numbers, addresses etc. are not shared with anyone. We do occasionally send out email with special offers or information about new products. In case you no longer wish to receive these emails please let us know.
9. Secure payments
All credit card payments are handled by DIBS, one of Europe’s largest payment providers. When you place an order with CarSeat.se all information is heavily encrypted for security purposes. SSL is of course used to protect your data. Your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV2 code are handled directly by DIBS. No one at CarSeat.se has access to this information.
You will see the “padlock” sign in your browser when checking out and paying with your credit card. This means your data is protected by highly secure SSL encryption. Your credit card statement will show you made a purchase from “CARSEAT” or “CARSEAT.SE”
By placing an order you enter into a binding legal agreement of purchase. Customers are responsible for finding out any applicable laws governing car seat usage. Customers are also responsible for following installation instructions in the manual. CarSeat.se is not responsible for any damages which may occur due to incorrect use. We retain the rights to correct misprints, bugs in the system or other issues which may lead to obvious incorrect pricing.
