Britax KidFix Pro i-Size – Urban Olive (Lux)

KidFix Pro i-Size is a forward facing high back booster seat developed with leading car manufacturers and approved for the newer car seat standard R129 (i-Size). Equipped with shock-absorbing pad XP-PAD, adjustable angle, protection against side collisions (SICT), a fourth anchor point (SecureGuard) and first-class comfort and ventilation. Preferably installed with Isofix, but can also be used only with the car’s seat belt.

Approved 100-150 cm (approx. 4-12 years).  We strongly recommend that children sit rear facing until at least four years of age, preferably much longer, and definitely longer than 100 cm. KidFix Pro is known for its great comfort and nice ventilation thanks to air holes under the side wings. Chest of child will absorb high forces in a collision which is why the seat is equipped with shock-absorbing XP-PAD. Placed comfortably over chest of child and helps reduce forces by up to 30%.

Headrest is deep, comfortable and easily adjusted with one hand. For extra comfort and safety the fourth anchor point SecureGuard is used. Located between the child’s legs and helps to keep seat belt low over hip of child and away from the sensitive abdomen. The risk of “submarining” is greatly reduced and Britax’s own tests show that forces on the stomach are reduced by up to 35%.

For protection against side collisions KidFix Pro has SICT which is used on side facing the door. Angle is easily adjustable for comfortable rides with a handle under front of seat. Installation is quick and easy with Isofix. The seat can also be used only with the car’s belt, e.g. in the front seat. Textile is nicely padded and contains no chemicals. Easily removed and machine washable at 30 degrees.
