Maxi-Cosi RodiFix Pro i-Size – Authentic Grey

Rodifix Pro i-Size is a forward facing high back booster and an upgraded version of Rodifix AirProtect, one of the best selling high back boosters ever.  Approved for the newer R129 car seat standard, also called i-Size.  Installed in seconds with Isofix which is standard in all cars from late 2013.  If Isofix is missing, like in front passenger seat, the seat can also be installed safely without Isofix.

Recline is adjustable in three positions which means your child is always riding comfortably.  Head support has like the previous version air bubbles (AirProtect) providing great safety for head, neck and shoulders.  Seats approved for the R129 standard must be less than 44 cm wide.  Rodifix Pro is therefore a great option when installing two or three seats in the car and trying to maximise space. The sides can also be pushed wider for larger kids with a maximum width of 51 cm.

Padding is very comfortable for bottom and back.  Seat is equipped with built in G-CELL to increase protection in side collisions. Airflow through bottom and sides of seats is nice thanks to ClimaFlow keeping your child cooler during warm summer days. Head support is easily adjusted with one hand and textile is simply removed and washed at 30 degrees.  Seat is very light weight at just below 5 kg which makes is very easy to move between cars.

General advice for usage is 100-150 cm or about 4-11 years. We find four years behind way too early and recommend kids to be at least age five before turning forward.  Not only size and weight are of importance.  Maturity is also an important factor since child is secured only with seat belt.  Do therefore keep your child rear facing as long as possible.
