High back booster from Britax approved for the new R129 (i-Size) standard. Installed with Isofix, weighing just under 6 kg and meant to be used forward facing by kids 100-150 cm. We do of course recommend that kids sit rear facing to at least four years of age, preferably much longer, and definitely longer than 100 cm.
Discovery Plus has seen a massive upgrade from its previous version. The whole seat has been redesigned and is approved for the new R129 standard. Isofix connectors are now fixed instead of using straps. Angle of the seat can be adjusted by placing Isofix connectors in 9 different comfortable positions. Car seats approved for the R129 car seat standard can’t be wider than 44 cm which means Discovery Plus works well for maximising space in back seat and/or placing two or more seats next to each other. Although the seat is meant to be installed with Isofix it can also be used only with seat belt. Practical when for example using front passenger seats lacking Isofix.
Head support is easily adjusted with one hand. Textile is nicely padded, contain no chemicals and is easily removed for washing at 30 degrees. Produced in solid Germany and thankfully not in UK.
