Axkid Minikid 2 – Repairing head support

Today we are making a broken Axkid Minikid 2 like new again. The problem is a small plastic piece inside head support which can break and cause issues.  Easily fixed in our workshop.

The issue is either a stuck head support, like todays seat, or that the manual brake won’t work.  Todays seat is not usable, the seat is still usable if manual brake isn’t working.  Both issues are of course a bit annoying and should be taken care of. The broken small black plastic piece has been improved in later models.  Nowadays the light grey piece is used which consist of softer plastic which will rarely cause issues.

This seat had maximum bad luck.  Not only did the small plastic piece break but it ended up stuck and blocking any movement of the head support.  Fortunately easily fixed:-)

    Hi!
I need to replace exactly the same black plastic part. Is it possible to buy it online or to pick it up in some workshop in Uppsala?
