Two Britax Max-Way installed in a VW Passat

Two Britax Max-Way installed in a VW Passat.  This is a very common installation in Sweden which will maximise safety for kids and still allow for two adults in the back seat.  Outside the Nordic region most parents sadly believe front passenger seat is a death trap.  In reality it’s a fantastic place for both rear and forward facing kids.  We have been using the front seat very successfully for the past 50+ years:-)

Both seats installed with good leg space and airbag off in front seat.  In the back seat we have installed our extra long tether loops to easily attach straps.  In front seat straps are attached underneath front of seat rails and seat is leaning against dashboard.  Very solid installation and no need to cross straps.
